La Street Kings Anthem No one knows where people like us come from. Why we do what we do and how people from every corner of the world, and in every color, can come together in peace, and all share one common love: SPEED. It's a love that cant be understood by bystanders, nor explained by those who feel it, and can only be felt by the proud few who have been or are crowned a "Street King". Maybe it's the way dashed lines and street signs become a blur as speeds of 110, 120, and 130 are reached. it's the point where a car becomes sexier than a woman. Or maybe how you cant be upset during a race, or even when talking about one. Its how enemies and friends are made, in one day, in a matter of seconds. Its how an entire language came about, where phrases like "from a dig" have nothing to do with digging, but instead, have everything to do with who will come out as the winner. Its how straight lines become a measurement of muscle, and curves become a measurement of courage. Its about respect, and how the roads belong to us, even if we are the only ones who know it. it's the way the world looks through a wind visor at 180MPH.. Its staring fear in the face, and testing its limits with the gas pedal. Its about the feeling of excitement when you win, and the aching disappointment when you don't. Its about building something from the wheels up and knowing its going to be amazing, and fast. it's the force that brings us together, and what keeps us going. it's a way of life, Its our way of life. Its why we work, and how we play. Its frustrating and determined, its trial and error, its hard work, its blood, sweat and tears, and then, its finished at last. It takes everything from us, but nothing at the same time. But, it all becomes worth it when the moment comes that you change from being just a man, into a king.
